Or explore Jewish Prague on a walking tour of Josefov, the city’s old Jewish quarter. It features Europe’s oldest surviving Jewish cemetery; the Old New Synagogue, the Continent’s oldest active synagogue; and Pinkas Synagogue, now a memorial to Holocaust victims. Note: The synagogues and Jewish cemetery are closed on Saturdays. If the tour lands on a Saturday, we will visit sites in the Josefov district associated with writer Franz Kafka.
