Relax in the riverside city of Silistra which was once a Roman fort under the Byzantine Empire and was later part of the Ottoman conquest. Rousse –Arbanassi & Veliko Tarnovo
Cruise to a town called Rousse and then visit the historic town of Arbanassi perched on a high plateau overlooking the Yantra valley and lined with traditional houses. The town is known for its 17th and 18th century churches and many examples of Bulgarian National Revival architecture. In the afternoon, also visit the impressive cliff top town of Veliko Tarnovo, the former capital of the Bulgarian empire known once as the 'city of the Tsars'.

Durnstein - Melk
In the morning we arrive in Dürnstein, one of the most enchanting villages of the Wachau wine region. This is the site of the castle where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned after returning from the crusades in the 12th century. Thereafter you drive through the picturesque landscape of this district to the 900-year old Benedictine Abbey of Melk, which features Austria’s finest Italian baroque architecture.
