BIKE RIDING ON A COASTAL TRAIL*

Finish your ride at Point Woronzof Park, where you'll be treated to a bald eagle presentation. As you bike along the coast, keep an eye out for local wildlife, including bald eagles, ravens and moose!

Enjoy an up close encounter with a bald eaglethe national bird symbol of the United States of America. A handler from a local rehabilitation center introduces you to one of these majestic birds and tells you about its habits. Be sure to take some photos!

As you blaze through the great frontier of Alaska, cool your tracks at Happy Trails Kennels owned by award-winning dog musher, Martin Buser. Your visit includes an exciting sledding demonstration, plus an up-close encounter with the racing dogs and this season's litter of puppies. After lunch, continue your guided visit to the kennel. Learn about the history of Iditarod and the loving care the dogs receive.

All aboard! Wind through the stunning stretch of wilderness between Girdwood and Seward in a well-appointed car that includes an outdoor viewing deckthe only one of its kind in the world! Your journey will take you through Placer River Valley and Moose Pass, a former railroad construction camp, before arriving at your destination of Seward for a full day of sightseeing and exploration.

ALASKA WILDLIFE CONSERVATION CENTER VISIT
See firsthand the conservation efforts taking place in Alaska at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, located on the shores of Turnagain Arm in a beautiful mountainous setting amid hanging glaciers. Explore the Center with a naturalist and get an up-close view of bears, moose and bison. Learn how all the wild animals housed here have been rescued and are in the process of being rehabilitated.
ON YOUR OWN AT PORTAGE GLACIER OR IN GIRDWOOD
Enjoy lunch and the afternoon on your own. Visit either Portage Glacier or Girdwood. If you choose to explore Portage Glacier, get dropped off at Begich Boggs Visitor Center to learn about this glacier and how it once filled the 14-mile (22.53 km) long long Portage Valley. After a quick bite at Porter Glacier Day Lodge, take a leisurely hike out to the glacier for some frosty fun. Or if you choose to visit the year-round resort community of Girdwood, stroll leisurely down the streets of this historic gold mining town on your own and discover charming shops and friendly folks.
