Cruising the Danube is getting even tastier on Tauck River Cruises. Later this year passengers will be treated to a pair of special culinary experiences created by celebrity chefs. The sessions are designed for foodies and anyone who enjoy preparing and eating meals. The focus will be on wine-paired meals composed of recipes of the different destinations.
The gastronomic events will be hosted by top chefs such as Jacques Haeringer, owner and executive chef of L’Auberge Chez Francois in Great Falls, Virginia. ” The popular culinary wizard has been featured on national television shows such as NBC’s Today Show and The Talk on CBS. The cookbook author has also hosted culinary programs on PBS and the History Channel. Jacques will be on board the August 14 westbound sailing of Tauck’s “Danube Reflections
Also on the agenda is Chef Luca Manfé who will display his culinary talents on a special sailing of Tauck’s westbound “Blue Danube” itinerary beginning on October 28. The talented chef is the season-four champion of the popular television series MasterChef, a top rated prime-time summer program on FOX and the author of the cookbook “My Italian Kitchen,” which highlights the culinary traditions of his native Friuli region in Italy.
