Your adventure begins in Nairobi where you’ll enjoy a morning game drive in Nairobi National Park followed by a visit to the Giraffe Center to meet elephant calves orphaned by poachers at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust orphanage. Travel from Nairobi to Nyeri, your base for exploring Solio Game Reserve. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives in this exclusive private game reserve that’s home to over 200 rhinos. The safari vehicles are not air conditioned and have high ground clearance, requiring some agility when getting in and out.Some internal flights have a strict maximum guest weight limit of 265 lbs. / 120 kgs. Any guests weighing more than the limit may be required to purchase an additional seat. Welcome to Africa! Arrive this evening, check in to your hotel, and prepare for your safari adventure!
Day 2 NAIROBI
Start your private sightseeing with a morning game drive in Nairobi National Park. Later, visit the elephant orphanage at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, founded by Dame Daphne Sheldrick. Learn about elephant conservation and meet elephant calves, orphaned by poachers, before they are re-introduced to the wild. As part of Globus family of brands Lighthouse Project, your visit contributes to the Trust’s mission. Next, enjoy lunch at Karen Blixen Gardens followed by a visit to the museum, dedicated to the author of Out of Africa. Lastly, stop at the Giraffe Center, a nonprofit organization focused on saving the Rothschild’s giraffe. Take the opportunity to feed these amazing animals with an up-close interaction with the world’s tallest land mammal. (B,L)

This morning, depart for Nyeri, your base for exploring Kenya’s Laikipia region. After lunch, set out on your first exhilarating game drive in nearby Solio Game Reserve, one of East Africa’s most successful private rhino breeding sanctuaries.
