The much anticipated launch of Crystal Endeavor is still two years off but the luxury cruise line has opened it for bookings. And Pavlus Travel is ready to get you on board. The German-built, 20,000-GRT ship is hardly your usual explorer craft. The 200-passenger all-suite ship is luxurious, elegantly casual and intimate.
The suite life
Every suite will have a butler to cater to passenger needs. While i have yet to do the line’s expedition ships, I am familiar with Serenity and Symphony. Dining on Endeavor will be true to Crystal with Michelin-inspired dining options. There will also be Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s Umi Uma & Sushi Bar (which we can’t get enough of when we’re on Symphony and Serenity).
Spa and fitness
For pamper-seekers, there’s a full-service Crystal Life Salon & Spa. Exercise buffs will find happiness in what’s touted as a state-of-the-art Fitness Center. They are also incorporating Expedition-specific amenities and spaces will such as designated “mud rooms” and a helicopter lounge.
Sounds like a plan? Even though this polar class ship doesn’t launch until 2021 it’s expected to sell out fast. You have a choice of 10 to 28-night voyages from which to choose.
Each trip will sail to, remote areas in Antarctica; Japan; the Russian Far East, Aleutian Islands and Alaska; Australia, New Zealand; Indonesia and the Indian Ocean; Norway and the United Kingdom; Western Europe; Canary Islands and Atlantic; and South America.
In late February, Crystal announced that Crystal Endeavor will also sail the elusive Northeast Passage in 2021. There will be guides, scientists and destination experts on every journey.
“The voyages offered aboard Crystal Endeavor go far beyond a typical luxury cruise. Guests will have opportunities for rare wildlife sightings; bold, unexpected experiences and adventures that present themselves along the journeys, guided by our expedition teams; and intimate exposure to less explored destinations and cultures,” said Carmen Roig, Crystal’s senior vice president of marketing and sales.
“Crystal Endeavor is made for this kind of exploration and is capable of taking travelers farther than they imagined, while they enjoy Crystal’s signature luxuries and service that welcome them ‘home.’”
Crystal Cruises Expedition cruises cater to passengers who want to enjoy adventures in luxury. And that’s what this operator of luxury ships, jet planes, yachts and river boats is all about.
