The game drives will take place in small, open-sided safari vehicles designed for optimal wildlife viewing. These vehicles are not air-conditioned and have high ground clearance, requiring some agility when getting in and out.

Several travel days include more than five hours of driving on gravel roads that may be very rough and uneven.

Visitors to Namibia are encouraged to consult their healthcare provider regarding malaria prophylaxis.

For approximately one month each year (typically late July to August), Table Mountain Aerial Cableway is closed for annual maintenance. In these instances, a private tour of Kirstenbosch National Garden will be included in its place.

All game viewing is done at your own risk and requires a signed liability waiver prior to travel. Due to rough driving on/off road and in/between game parks, this vacation is not recommended for guests with serious back problems or mobility issues.
