When possible, we’ll modify game viewing when advised of reported sightings. All game viewing is done at your own risk and requires a signed liability waiver prior to travel. Due to rough driving on/off road and in/between game parks, this vacation is not recommended for guests with serious back problems or mobility issues. The safari vehicles are not air conditioned and have high ground clearance, requiring some agility when getting in and out.

Some internal flights have a strict maximum guest weight limit of 265 lbs. / 120 kgs. Any guests weighing more than the limit may be required to purchase an additional seat. Globus Tour Operations must be advised of any guests weighing more than the limit prior to final payment to ensure space can be confirmed.

Day 2 ARUSHA–TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK AREA
Drive south this morning to Tarangire National Park, a picturesque landscape defined by towering baobab trees, wide open savannas, and umbrella-shaped acacias. The Tarangire River serves as a vital permanent water source, drawing wildlife throughout the year and creating excellent game viewing opportunities. The park is especially renowned for its large elephant population, often seen gathering along the riverbanks or moving in impressive herds across the plains. After lunch, set out on your first game drive in search of the iconic “Big Five”, lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo, as well as the many other species that thrive in this beautiful and less visited reserve. This is one example of our commitment to supporting the people and places we share with you. (B,L,D)
