The ship will stop in Palermo, Sicily, Naples and La Spezia. The line is the second Carnival Corp. brand to resume operations (Costa began cruising again in September).
A gradual re-entry
Carnival is easing the rebooting of AIDA Cruises and Costa Cruises. It’s using a gradual approach the concentrates on regional itineraries.
Both brands are employing safety measures to help alleviate the spread of viruses according to Roger Frizzell, chief communications officer for Carnival Corporation.
