She’ll make her first re-entry Saturday, Oct. 17 on seven day voyages from Civitavecchia, Italy.  The ship will stop in Palermo, Sicily, Naples and La Spezia. The line is the second Carnival Corp. brand to resume operations (Costa began cruising again in September).

A gradual re-entry

Carnival is easing the rebooting of AIDA Cruises and Costa Cruises. It’s using a gradual approach the concentrates on regional itineraries.

Both brands are employing safety measures to help alleviate the spread of viruses according to  Roger Frizzell, chief communications officer for Carnival Corporation.
