Wellness cruise will offer lots of goop time

Have you heard about goop? It’s a celebrity thing. The brainstorm of superstar Gwyneth Paltrow,  the premise is all about wellness. And, well spas and wellness are the biggest buzz words in the hospitality industry on land and sea.

And not one with to miss the boat, Celebrity Cruises is jumping on the health wagon with a goop wellness cruise starring Paltrow herself.  The line is  introducing goop to passengers on its new Apex ship on an 11-night wellness cruise. The voyage sails the Mediterranean on August 30, 2020.

The event will also be hosted by Paltrow and goop’s chief content officer Elise Loehnen. Fans of Paltrow will get to meet with her and her ‘healers’ during group sessions.  Throughout the sailing there will be surprises and perks along the way from both goop and Celebrity Cruises. Whether guests are looking to push past a block in a relationship, reconnect with their own body, quiet their inner critic, or find purpose, joy, or five minutes to de-stress, through transformative work, they will develop a toolkit that they can take with them off the ship and into their everyday life.

Gwyneth Paltrow started goop as a cottage industry right out of her  kitchen. The idea was to share her unbiased travel recommendations, health-centric recipes, and shopping discoveries.  She also wanted to answer her own questions about health, fitness, and the psyche.
