Crystal Cruises luxury at its best

Crystal Serenity luxury cruising at its finest

The cruise industry is  working hard to boost customer confidence (read).  They are using down time to  create unprecedented safety measures. And, it appears that  this news is convincing many people to book cruises.  Pavlus  Travel is seeing booms in booking especially on luxury lines and river cruises.

Luxury liners and riverboats gaining popularity

For fairly obvious reasons many past cruisers are favoring small all-inclusive luxury lines and riverboats for future cruises. Outbreaks of coronavirus on big ships is still much in their minds.

Facebook comments from fan pages of Silversea, Regent Seven Seas, Crystal, Viking and Seabourn indicate that those lines are still popular and maybe even more than ever.

Positive signs

It’s  good sign according to Bill Penoff, publisher of Porthole Cruise Magazine.  Penoff says, “When major players in the industry took preemptive action by halting operations, it marked an unprecedented moment in 60+ years of cruising. The total shutdown left hundreds of thousands of Americans without employment and billions of dollars in ship investments floating dormant in ports around the world. A 30 day pause turned into 60 and 60 into 100, with a concrete return date still in limbo.  But rest assured they will sail again and when they do vacationing at sea will return with renewed popularity.”

Historically low fares and plenty of perks ahead

Penoff also points out that besides enhanced hygiene protocols, cruise lines are offering historically low pricing and perks.  This is good news for those who enjoy open bars, onboard spending credits and spa passes..  Look for even more incentives as booking open. Pavlus agents have all the latest.
