We worry about whether it’s safe to travel. And rightly so during this raging coronavirus pandemic. But there are some safe options. And they are almost in our backyard. Or at least spread out in 17-acres of land in the Catskill mountains.
We’re talking Lushnas at Eastwind Hotel & Bar’s –the only hotel in the United States to now offer Lushna Suites for glamping. Each one can house three to 10 people who enjoy an almost-camping vacation.
What’s in a Lushna
The Lushnas are insulated for year-round stays and feature the following:
- The 3 new loft-style Lushna Suites boast:
- Lofted Queen bed with an A-frame window and views of the Catskill mountains and meadows
- Couch with convertible full size bed
- Writer’s Nook with desk
- Private bathroom with windowed shower inside the cabin
- Private outdoor deck with patio furniture
- Individual fire pit
- Outdoor shower and a hammock
- Rates start at $429.
Seven A-frame cabins come with queen bed, panoramic views and private ‘Rain Room’ bath. Rates for those are $329 and up. Each Lushna cabin houses up to two people while Lusha Suites can accommodate four guests.
Each cabin comes with Frette linens, Faribault wool blankets, hooded Pendleton robes, Zenology bath products and even BBQ kits on request.
