The world of travel is coming alive.  Istanbul Airport, normally one of the world’s busiest, is functioning again. But in a new way. It says it is employing strict measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus which has crushed the aviation industry.

Turkey is also implementing a gradual resumption of international flights to 40 countries.

Only passengers with  valid tickets can enter the the airport. And they must keep their distance from each other. All areas are marked with social distancing guidelines. There is also an iGA Hygiene Team on duty for conformity to the rules.Thermal screening cameras are in place to monitor body temperatures and thus identify cases of fever. Thermo-scan sensors are in place to monitor passengers temperatures.
