The christening of most exclusive jet in the world
This could be the start of something big and was
On August 12, 2017 the christening of the most exclusive jet plane in the world–Crystal AirCruises’ fully custom, gorgeously appointed Boeing 777, Crystal Skye — took place at Las Vegas‘s McCarran Airport. One can’t help but think how aviation/hotel and Hollywood tycoon Howard Hughes might have savored this event.
The chairman and Chief Executive of Genting Hong Kong Tan Sri Kok Thay Lim and the former Crystal CEO and president, Edie Rodriguez presided over the event. Crystal Skye’s godfather Matthew D. Upchurch, did the christening honors.
The event seen round the world
The 88-passenger Crystal Skye is one of the poshest planes in the world. Were talking bespoke seats offering exceptional comfort and leg room. And, oh lordy, they even convert to 180-degree lie-flat beds.
During flights passengers can mingle in an expansive social lounge or at a stand-up bar, and dine on food from an executive chef in two state-of-the-art galleys. Naturally fine wines flow with meals from a premium selection of the Crystal SkyeCellar.
