You can use the ‘stimulus’ check anywhere

Santa Maria ValleyIt really  pays to visit to Santa Maria Valley.  We’re talking one hundred bucks. Yup, that’s the amount of vouchers the county is giving visitors who book a room for two-nights or more from  now to March 31.

The ‘stimulus’ check is valid at wineries, restaurants, breweries and attractions. It’s a cool incentive to discover this picture postcard part of Central California.

Lots to do there

Famous for its tri-tip smoked barbeques (which even show up  in parking lots), the Valley hosts  34 winery tasting rooms, 15 beaches,  24 hiking trails, miles of cycling.

Location, location, location

Accessible by plane or car, Santa Maria Valley  is 170 miles north of Los Angeles and 270 miles south of San Francisco.  It boasts a temperate climate and smog-free air.  The Valley snuggles between the Sierra Madre Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
