On every Seabourn cruise my husband Richard and I  consume copious amount of caviar and Champagne. The tasty roe is served on a gorgeous platter with all the dressings and the bubbly in beautiful flutes. What a luxury be able to order the combo anytime,  anywhere you want for no extra price.  And it that’s not enough the crew puts on a weekly caviar party at the pool where  passengers are served right in the pool.

If you also get their culinary kicks from caviar and champers, you will be happy to know that the line has ramped up the experience. The line is now serving super chef Thomas Keller  uptown Regiis Ova caviar. And, it melts in your mouth, especially when washed down with Champagne or a kir royale. Keller co-founded the label, which means ‘royal egg’ in Latin) with Td Shaoching Bishop, former CEO of Sterling Caviar and Tsar Nicoulai Caviar.

And, all drinks, wine, champagne, water, specialty coffees, sodas and spirits are free. There is no tipping either in the mostly-inclusive fares.

One of the most delicious dishes is blinis made from Regiis Ova’s buckwheat blini mix. It is served with smoked salmon or caviar. This delicious mix is made with a blend of Cup4Cup flour developed by chefs at Thomas Keller’s acclaimed restaurant, The French Laundry, and organically grown whole buckwheat that is sourced directly from local and sustainable suppliers.
