Looking for something off ‘the beaten track”? How about a ride on Belmond’s iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.
A subsidiary of the world’s leading luxury group LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the 40-year-old Belmond ranks as a pioneer of luxury travel.
And now the company is offering a wild experience at the launch of “The Party” – a new two-night package that transports guests across Europe and back in time.
Get your roar on
The event happens on March 2, 2020, so there’s still plenty of time to book it with Pavlus. It kicks off at impossibly posh Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice with a Jay Gatsby-like speakeasy party.
After the bash, participants, dressed in flapper dresses and spats, hop on the train for a jazzy ride to London through Italy, Austria, Switzerland and France. During the ride there will be surprise entertainment and impromptu performances along the route.
Your ticket to ride
Tickets to ride cost around $4,845) per person. The tab includes a one-night stay at Belmond Hotel Cipriani in a Garden View Room, the party, a stay in a twin cabin on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, and all drinks, table d’hote meals and entertainment aboard the train.
Venice Simplon-Orient-Express travels throughout Europe from March to November. The train also makes journey to Istanbul once a year. The 2020 season sees the addition of three new Grand Suites on the train. Each suite features 24-hour butler service, free flowing champagne and a private en-suite bathroom. They are named for the cities that inspired the design: Vienna, Budapest and Prague.
This event is part of a partnership with Private Drama Events– the UK’s leading creator of luxury experiences and collective of storytellers.
