French firm creating crystal panels for Silver Shadow and Silver Moon

Dining at Silversea Cruises La Dame feels like you’ve been transportedto France.  Heady garlic aromas permeate the room.  Champagne and copious glasses of wines take center stage on tables.

A certain je ne sais quoi

Every time we dine at La Dame I get that je ne sais quoi feeling.  Something was missing.  Well Silversea found it.

The luxury line is upgrading the decor with bespoke Lalique crystal paneling on the Moon and the Shadow. The passenger-popular French cuisine restaurants provide the perfect canvas for Lalique’s artistry.

Enhanced elegance

Each hand-crafted panel feature two main motifs. Both  imagined by Lalique’s Founder, René Lalique.   The Masque de Femme reveals the delicate featured face of a mysterious nymph  surrounded by aquatic life.

The Coutard–a geometric pattern representing a spray of fine transparent water droplets evoking waves.

The new decor reflects French gardens and castles.

A crystal clear collaboration

“We are delighted to have collaborated with Lalique,’ says Manfredi Lefebvre, Silversea’s Executive Chairman.  “It’s a  brand that truly shares our passion for quality and elegance.”

Silver Shadow’s face lift begins November 2019. She will relaunch in August sporting the newly revised La Dame.

La Dame will be situated on deck 8 on the Silver Moon. The all-suite ship’s  a knock-out complete with Silversea signature touches of class.

Silversea fares include tips, all potables,WiFi and more.

That’s me and my first mate dining at La Dame on Silver Muse.
