New start date moved to spring 2022

In this ever-changing cruise world Princess Cruises is continuing shift dates for the re-entries of Island Princess and Diamond Princess.
As of this writing, things are flexible, Island Princess will return to service with a series of cruises to the Caribbean in spring 2022. She’ll do a 14-day Panama Canal Ocean to Ocean voyage on April 27, 2022 just before then.
Also in the spring, Diamond Princess will go back to Japan for a season of sailings. More details coming soon.
Island Princess and Diamond Princess join eight MedallionClass™ ships – Majestic Princess, Grand Princess, Ruby Princess, Enchanted Princess, Sky Princess, Regal Princess, Caribbean Princess and Emerald Princess—which are either sailing now or will resume by November 28, 2021. These itineraries go to Alaska, the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Mexico, Hawaii, and the California Coast.
Cancellations in the forecast
Due to the above alterations, Princess is cancelling its 2021-2022 South America & Antarctica program on Diamond Princess, and its 2022 World Cruise along with two December 2021 Island Princess cruises. This certainly will be sad news for people booked on those voyages. However Princess is offering options for anyone affected. They can take a future cruise for the same fare or opt to receive a FCC or full refund.
Passengers must remit requests through this online form by September 30, 2021, or they will automatically be moved to the default alternate. FCCs can be used on any cruises booked by and sailing by December 31, 2022.
Don’t worry about your travel agent. Princess is protecting their commissions on bookings in full in.
The most current information and instructions for guests affected by these cancellations, and more information on FCCs and refunds, can be found online at Information on Impacted & Cancelled Cruises. Or you can call a Pavlus agent at 800-528-9300.
