Sky suite enhance passenger pleasures with big balconies and amenities

New cruise ships are cropping up at jet speed. It’s hard to keep up, but we try. So  here you go with a few details about Princess Cruises Sky Princess. Which will rank as the biggest in the fleet at 145,700 gross tons.

The ship, makes her bow in October of this year, bearing many innovative features and amenities. One of which is the Sky Suites. As a diva, I am partial to suites. And I’ve enjoyed quite a few on Princess ships. But these new accommodations really sound dreamy.

 Celestial comfort

Centrally located on the top decks the high-end accommodations boast the largest private balconies offered by the line. We’re talking a whopping 700 square feet. Plenty of room to enjoy breakfast, lunch, cocktails, dinner and more. Just stay away from the railing.

Two of the suites will provide 270-degree views. They will also sleep up to five should you be traveling with kids.

While Sky Princess echoes many features from her three sister ships – Royal Princess, Regal Princess and Majestic Princess—she sports a few designs of her own.

Sybaritic pleasures

Water babies will love the new additions. On of which is a Wakeview pool on the aft deck. The others include deep-tank top deck pools and a restorative Retreat Pool.

And for you hot tub lovers, more Jacuzzis than previous Royal-Class ships including two that cantilevered over the deep-tank pools.

Meanwhile Sky Princess will introduce more ways for guests to unwind, with its relaxing Sanctuary area offering a new contemporary design and twice as many private cabanas as its sister ships.

Guests will also be able to enjoy the new look of the ship’s Vista Lounge complete with a full bar offering, an evolution of the popular lounge on other Princess ships. Guests can take advantage of a new café in the Princess Live venue, serving barista made coffee, tea and quick bites.

Princess Cruises continues to expand at jet speed. The line’s adding five more ships between now and 2025. One of those vessels will be the largest in the fleet with a capacity for 4,300 passengers.
