Southwest stops serving drinks

Bar traffic way up at airport

One restaurant group at the Houston Hobby airport sold more alcohol than anywhere else in all of Houston last month ” by a long shot.”

Pappasito’s, Pappadeaux and Pappas Burger share ownership and report their alcohol sales together. These two restaurants alone, at Hobby airport, the smaller of the two Houston airports, had approximately $1 million in alcohol sales in June. The number two location, a bar in Houston, generated $620,898 in alcohol sales.
