By Patti Pietschmann, Travel Diva
Sir Richard Branson, entrepreneur billionaire cruise line founder keeps finding ways to bring attention to his new Virgin Voyages. The cheeky cruise line debuts in April with Scarlet Lady. And his latest enticement it to give away loot. Read on:
Branson’s offering $400 in complementary Sailor Loot (ship board credit) to ‘sailors’ who book a Scarlet Lady voyage from now through February 14th, 2020.
More itineraries too
Virgin Voyages is also providing additional sailing for their most popular itineraries. These include Mayan Sol, Domincan Daze and Fire and Sunset Soirées. First Mates and Sailors can now book voyages between April 1, 2020 and April 2021. All voyages stop in Bimini, Bahamas, just voted one of The New York Times 52 Places to Go in 2020.
Talk about quirky
A true head-turner, Virgin Voyages is about as quirky as a cruise line comes. Branson’s design is to turn heads and it’s working. First of all, Virgin Voyages allows only adults on board. Secondly, it provides a semi-hedonistic atmosphere of lots of bars, fun, unique cocktails and one-of-a-kind entertainment.
You won’t find buffets but you will find food that’s never been served on a ship, a tattoo parlor and lots of surprises.
