Day 1 Arrive New York City
Welcome to New York City. Get settled in at your hotel before meeting your Travel Director this afternoon.
Day 2 New York City – Philadelphia
Enjoy a guided tour of New York City with a Local Specialist. Venture south to Philadelphia and visit Independence National Historical Park. Visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were both signed. The rest of the day is free.
Day 3 Philadelphia – Washington, D.C. (2 Nights)
Drive to Washington, D.C., the nation's capital, where a Local Specialist takes you on a guided sightseeing tour of many of the city's famous landmarks and monuments. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please.
Day 4 Washington, D.C. Free Time
Enjoy a full day at leisure to continue exploring the capital city at your own pace. Your Travel Director will be happy to help you plan your day. This evening, an optional illumination tour of Washington's memorials and monuments will also be available.Continental Breakfast
Day 5 Washington, D.C. – Lancaster
Enter Pennsylvania Dutch farm country, one of the largest settlements of Amish people. Join a Local Specialist to learn about the culture and way of life of the Amish people. This evening, why not join an optional Amish family-style dinner featuring traditional Amish fare?Buffet Breakfast
Day 6 Lancaster – Niagara Falls (2 Nights)
Head northwest, crossing western New York State along a portion of the Susquehanna River and through the Appalachian Mountains before crossing the border into Canada and arriving in Niagara Falls late afternoon.Continental Breakfast
Day 7 Niagara Falls Sightseeing and Free Time
Of all the natural wonders east of the Mississippi, Niagara Falls is perhaps the greatest. See the Canadian and American sides of the falls this morning as you cruise to the base of Horseshoe Falls. The afternoon is free to relax or explore further. Perhaps partake in an optional excursion to Niagara-on-the-Lake including a visit to a local ice winery followed by dinner and a show.
Day 8 Niagara Falls – Toronto
Travel north through the rich farmlands and vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula, before arriving in Toronto. The rest of the day and evening are yours to do as you please; perhaps join an optional dinner at the CN Tower, rising high above the city.
Day 9 Toronto – Kingston – Ottawa
In Kingston, board a scenic cruise for an introduction to the unique sights and heritage in the famous Thousand Islands National Park region of the St. Lawrence River. Head to Ottawa where you will enjoy an orientation tour to view the city's most famous landmarks. The rest of the day is free.
Day 10 Ottawa – Quebec City (2 Nights)
As you enter the French-speaking province of Quebec, you'll notice the change in language and traditions. Arrive in Quebec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating back to 1608, the city has retained its fortified colonial core. With its narrow cobblestone streets and stone buildings it exudes a strong European feel.
Day 11 Quebec Sightseeing and Free Time
Join a Local Specialist on an exploration of Old Quebec, the historic heart of French Canada. Learn about the city's history and culture while strolling past its many attractions. The afternoon and evening are yours to do as you please.
Day 12 Quebec City – Montreal
This morning, a traditional Iconic Breakfast is served at Erabliere le Chemin du Roy. Enjoy breakfast at this Cabane a Sucre (Sugar Shack) while learning how maple syrup is harvested and used for various other maple products. Travel through the French Canadian countryside to Montreal, Canada's liveliest city. On arrival, embark on an orientation tour of the city with a Local Specialist. This evening is free. Day 13 Montreal – Boston (2 Nights)
Cross the border back into the United States and journey through Vermont's scenic White Mountains with quaint wooden chapels, through groves of maples-a spectacular sight in autumn-and through New Hampshire where you'll view the State Capitol in Concord before arriving in Boston, Massachusetts.
Day 14 Boston Sightseeing and Free Time
Your morning sightseeing tour introduces you to the famous Freedom Trail, a historic path winding its way through 350 years of history. See Old North Church and Paul Revere's House; stop at bustling Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and Boston Harbor, site of the Tea Party and home to Old Ironsides. The afternoon is free to explore on your own.Buffet Breakfast
Day 15 Depart Boston
Bid farewell to your Travel Director and travel companions as your trip comes to an end.
