Day 2 Atlanta - Savannah (2 Nights)
This morning's drive through Atlanta takes you past the headquarters of two of America's best known corporations: CNN and Coca Cola. After, head to Savannah, where visitors from around the world are drawn to the charming antebellum homes and cobblestone streets. Continental Breakfast
Day 3 Savannah Sightseeing and Free Time
This morning, why not board an optional trolley for a guided sightseeing tour through Savannah's Historic District, driving past stately mansions and parks with hanging Spanish moss, Davenport House, Forsyth Park, River Street, City Market, Colonial Park Cemetery and Juliette Gordon Low's Birthplace. Later, join your travelling companions for an optional excursion to Fort Pulaski followed by lunch at The Crab Shack, a local landmark on Tybee Island. Continental Breakfast
Day 4 Savannah - Montgomery
Travel from Savannah to Alabama's state capital, Montgomery. The streets of Montgomery are steeped in civil rights history from Rosa Parks to Martin Luther King Jr. Learn about the civil rights movement and see many of these historic sites.Continental Breakfast
Day 5 Montgomery - New Orleans (2 Nights)
This morning, set out for "The Big Easy" where you are taken on an orientation tour experiencing unique cultures, food and music with a Local Specialist. The rest of the day is yours to relax, settle in or explore further on your own. Continental Breakfast
Day 6 New Orleans Sightseeing and Free Time
This morning, perhaps head out to the swamps for a guided tour to see alligators in the Cajun backwaters of Louisiana or join an optional walking tour of the French Quarter ending with a jazz brunch at the Court of Two Sisters. This afternoon is free to explore this vibrant city on your own - visit a jazz club or enjoy beignets with coffee at Café du Monde. This evening, perhaps take an optional jazz cruise along the Mississippi.
Day 7 New Orleans - Natchez
Set out for Natchez, where have a chance to join an optional visit to Stanton Hall, one of the fully restored antebellum homes Natchez is renowned for.
Day 8 Natchez - Memphis (2 Nights)
This morning, drive to Memphis, a city steeped in music history from BB King to Elvis. On arrival in Memphis, enjoy an orientation tour of the city. This evening is at leisure to sample the music scene on Memphis' famous Beale Street and experience some authentic Memphis-style BBQ or take an optional visit to the Rock n' Soul Museum with dinner at Blues City Cafe. Day 9 Memphis Sightseeing and Free Time
Start the day with a visit to Sun Studios where Elvis was discovered, followed by a pilgrimage to the museum dedicated to the late Elvis Presley, Graceland. The mansion was purchased by the "King" back in 1957 for $100,000 when he was just 22 years old. Later, perhaps take an optional musical tour of historic Memphis as musicians entertain you while you travel the streets of Memphis.
Day 10 Memphis - Nashville (2 Nights)
This morning, enjoy an Iconic Breakfast of Southern fare served family style at one of the oldest cafe's in Memphis. Then, the morning takes you from the home of the blues to the home of country music - Nashville, "Music City USA" for a two-night stay.Iconic Breakfast
Day 11 Nashville Sightseeing and Free Time
This morning explore Nashville with an orientation tour, passing well-known sites including historic Riverfront Park, the Tennessee State Capitol and Centennial State Park, home to the world's only full-scale reproduction of the ancient Parthenon in Athens. Explore the vibrant heart of Nashville's entertainment industry at Music Row, home to hundreds of businesses dedicated to music. Visit Studio B where the Everly Brothers and Dolly Parton, among others, recorded some of their albums. Next is the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to view memorabilia from stars such as Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn and Garth Brooks. This afternoon is free to pursue your own interests. This evening, perhaps attend an optional live recording session at the Grand Ole Opry, home to America's longest-running live radio program Continental Breakfast
Day 12 Depart Nashville or Atlanta
Depart from Nashville International Airport at your leisure or head south toward Atlanta where your trip comes to an end upon arrival at Atlanta International Airport. A stop will also be made at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Atlanta Downtown Hotel for guests extending their stay in Atlanta.Continental Breakfast
