Day 1 Your Journey Begins

Board your overnight flight to Europe (please ask about our great deals).

Day 2 Welcome to Madrid

Transfers leave Madrid Airport for your hotel at 09:00, 11:00, 13:30 and 16:00. Later, join your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception and a pleasant evening of dinner and wine, with the opportunity to mingle with your fellow travelers.(WD)

Day 3 Prado Museum and Golden Salamanca

With a Local Expert, go down the Gran Vía to the Cibeles Fountain on the wide Paseo de la Castellana. Cross the Puerta del Sol and see the Cervantes Monument in the Plaza de España. A highlight is a visit to the Prado Museum, a magnificent palace housing works by Velázquez, Goya, Rubens and others. Day 4 Holy Fátima and Lisbon

Day 5 Lisbon and the Age of Discovery

Day 9 The Ancient Imperial City of Fes

(Relaxed Start) Sightseeing with a Local Expert shows you the Medina – the walled city of hidden courtyards, mosques and workshops. See the bazaar and one of the world’s oldest universities. Day 10 On the Road to Marrakesh

Travel past the Atlas Mountains and mud-walled villages to Marrakesh – a thriving city of artisan, faith, cultural heritage, and labyrinthine souqs.(BB / D)

Day 11 Marrakesh, Pearl of the South

(Relaxed Start) Enjoy the atmosphere in Jemaa el-Fnaa Square where acrobats and fortune tellers entertain you. A Local Expert will guide you through the Medina and show you the Koutoubia Minaret which dominates the skyline. Day 12 'Play It Again Sam', in Casablanca

Day 13 Rabat and Tangier

(Relaxed Start) Drive northwards to Rabat where, with your Local Expert, you will see the Royal Palace and Hassan Tower. Continue to Tangier, Morocco’s great port, overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar. Day 17 Madrid in search of Don Quixote
