Los Angeles: How long are the drives on this trip? The US is a large country - which means this trip involves some long journeys on the coach. But it also means that you’ll have plenty of time to sit back, relax, enjoy the stunning scenery and get to know your fellow travellers.
Los Angeles: What is the luggage allowance for the internal flight? There’s an internal flight as part of your trip, so please make sure that your checked baggage is no heavier than 23kg (50 lbs). Overweight luggage and any additional fees will be your responsibility.
Los Angeles: What weather is expected? The climate in this region is extremely varied. In shoulder season (May, September, and October) you can expect temperatures to vary between single digits and warm sunny days, while from June until September temperatures can reach well above 30 C (86 F).
Los Angeles: What should I pack? It’s always a good idea to bring a warm windproof jacket. No matter which time of year you decide to travel, it can get quite cool at night (especially outside of the cities), so we recommend that you bring a warm jacket or fleece. This trip involves visiting National Parks, walking and light hiking is required to visit all the viewpoints listed. You should pack appropriate clothing for outdoor activities. Closed shoes are required for most activities.
