You’ll stay inside the park, giving you the opportunity to see a stunning sunset over the canyon. If you miss sunset, have the chance to see a glorious sunrise! Have time to explore the park, take a leisurely hike, or board the narrated park shuttle. But that’s not all…you’ll also take a 4-wheel drive tour of Monument Valley, one of the world’s most photographed places with its pinnacles of rock surrounded by mesas, buttes, shrubs, trees, and windblown sand and visit Navajo National Monument, and view artifacts from the villages built by the prehistoric Puebloan Ancestors that date from 1250 to 1300 AD at the Visitor Center. Stop at Glen Canyon Dam—the country’s second-highest concrete-arch dam, which holds back Lake Powell, the country’s second-largest man-made lake.
