Bern > Montreux
Enroute to Montreux stop at the charming village of Gruyères, then be treated to a tasting of Swiss chocolate. Upon arrival in Montreux check into your opulent hotel.
Montreux > Zermatt
Cruise on Lake Geneva to Chillon Castle and enjoy a guided tour, then board a cogwheel train to the Swiss Alps village of Zermatt. Then check into for your two night stay.
Today ascend the Swiss Alps by rail to Gornergrat for magnificent views, including the Matterhorn.
Zermatt > Stresa
Today we cross the border and continue to the Italian city of Stresa. Upon arrival you will check in to your hotel where you’ll enjoy beautiful rooms overlooking the crystal blue waters of Lake Maggiore.
Cruise Lake Maggiore, the stunning lake that straddles Switzerland and Italy. Pause along the way to visit the splendid Isola Bella, ‘the beautiful island’. Famous for its baroque palace and luscious gardens, explore the palace and its grounds before returning to Stresa.
Stresa > Lugano
Today journey to Lugano, where you will stay two nights. Although in Switzerland, the city offers a unique Italian flair with the culture and language influenced by its nearest neighbour.
Located on the shores of Lake Lugano surrounded by impressive mountains, the city is a sight to behold.

Salzburg > Vienna
Continue your exploration of Austria and visit the lake side town of Hallstatt, before arriving in the grand capital, Vienna.
