Day 1

Day 1 - Arrive in Quebec, Canada

Arrive in beautiful Quebec City today and transfer to your hotel. Tonight, meet your Tour Manager and fellow travelers at 6:00 p.m. for a welcome dinner. Meal: D
Day 2

Day 2 - Quebec Sightseeing, St. Anne de Beaupré and Montmorency Falls

This morning, a local guide conducts a tour of one of Canada’s most beautiful cities. Then, visit St. Anne de Beaupré, one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in North America. Continue to Manor Montmorency, once the summer home of the Duke of Kent, for a breathtaking view of Montmorency Falls. Higher than Niagara, Montmorency is Eastern Canada’s highest waterfall. In the heart of Quebec sits Basilica-Cathedral Note-Dame de Quebec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tonight, a special Sugar Shack dinner will introduce you to Quebec’s unique culture complete with a maple syrup making tour, musical entertainment and traditional French-Canadian cuisine. Meals: B, D
Day 3

Day 3 - Albert Gilles Copper Art Studio at Our Lady of the Cape

Begin the day by learning the intricacies of copper art at the Albert Gilles Copper Art Studio with a tour and hands-on workshop to make your own copper work of art. Then, follow the St. Lawrence River to Trois-Rivieres. Here, visit Canada’s National Shrine, Our Lady of the Cape. Built in 1714, it is one of the two oldest churches in Canada. With its magnificent stained-glass windows and unique 5,425-pipe Casavant organ, the shrine welcomes over 250,000 pilgrims a year. Then, continue to Montreal. Meals: B, L
Day 4

Day 4 - Montreal Sightseeing

This morning a local guide conducts a narrated tour of Montreal, one of Canada’s vibrant cities known for its rich French-Canadian heritage. Your guide shows you Old Montreal with its narrow streets lined with a mixture of buildings dating from the 17th-century, Notre-Dame Basilica, St. Joseph’s Oratory, Mount Royal and Olympic Park, site of the 1976 summer Olympics. Later, climb aboard Le Grande Roue de Montreal Ferris wheel. Enjoy the comfort of the enclosed gondolas while taking in the exciting Montreal skyline. Meals: B, D
Day 5

Day 5 - Eastern Townships and Abbaye Saint-Benoit-du-Lac

Travel to Sherbrooke where a local guide conducts a tour of the city’s sites including the immense frescos highlighting the region’s rich heritage. Visit the Basilica-Cathedral of Saint Michel, a Gothic masterpiece whose construction began in 1914. Then, visit the Benedictine monastic community of Abbaye de Saint-Benoit-du-Lac. On a guided tour you will learn about daily monastic life, admire the beautiful architecture of the Abbey and understand how the products the Monks produce support the needs of the community. Day 6

Day 6 - Mont-Tremblant Gondola and Ottawa

Depart Montreal this morning and travel to Mont-Tremblant. Here, climb aboard the gondola and be whisked away to the top of the mountain for breathtaking views of the surrounding autumn foliage. After your included lunch, continue to the Canadian capital city of Ottawa. Meals: B, L
Day 7

Day 7 - Ottawa, Canada’s Capital City

Today a local guide conducts a narrated sightseeing tour of Ottawa, Canada’s stately capital. See the picturesque Parliament buildings, the colorful open-air marketplace as well as the residences of both the Governor General and Prime Minister. Also included are the War Memorial, the Peace Tower and the historic Rideau Canal. In the afternoon you will tour the Canadian Museum of History followed by a narrated cruise to explore the Ottawa River and its rich historical surroundings. Meals: B, D
Day 8

Day 8 - Depart for Home

After breakfast your group transfer takes you to Ottawa’s Macdonald-Cartier International Airport for flights out after 12:00 p.m. Meal: B
