Begin the day with a visit to the historic Androscoggin Swinging Bridge, a pedestrian suspension bridge built in 1892. Then, travel to Bath and learn why it is called the “City of Ships” at the Maine Maritime Museum. Here you will learn about Maine’s connection to its waters, lighthouses, lobster fishery and take a stroll through the country’s only surviving shipyard. Spend time in Freeport and browse the many shops and stores.
