Arrive by overnight flight to Argentina’s capital, Buenos Aires. Early check-in is guaranteed and if desired, a buffet breakfast may be taken upon arrival in the hotel’s restaurant. After settling into your hotel, embark on an orientation tour of the surrounding area with your private A&K guide, with a stop at Recoleta Cemetery, the final resting place of Eva Perón.

This evening, learn basic tango steps before attending a dinner and tango show at a renowned Buenos Aires venue.

Fly to Iguazu Falls, visiting its spectacular Brazilian side. The falls are one of the most impressive sights in the world, with a breathtaking 275 cascades that spread across a gulf of nearly two miles. They are located in the lush Iguazu National Park, a sprawling forest that is home to rare wildlife such as macaws, toucans, monkeys and crocodiles. Lodge in the only hotel in the park, a short walk from the mighty cataracts.

Today, the thrill of the falls continues when you view different vistas from the Argentine side. Walk above the falls through paths surrounded by tropical flora, butterflies and exotic birds. Venture onto a catwalk that extends 3,600 feet over Devil’s Throat, a roiling cataract that marks the border between Argentina and Brazil.

This morning, explore the best kept secrets of scenic Bariloche, a panoply of lush hills, snow-topped peaks and lakes reflecting a crisp blue sky. As you walk for about 40 minutes on even terrain alongside your informative guide interpreter, listen to the sounds of the forest, such as the trill of the chucao and the regular pecking of woodpeckers. Taste “the mate,” a traditional, caffeine-rich infused drink.

You are at leisure today to play a round of golf at Patagonia’s best 18-hole course or, perhaps, explore the pastoral surroundings with your choice of activities, such as mountain biking, trekking, kayaking, rafting, fishing or horseback riding.

After a relaxing morning at your hotel, transfer to the airport and fly to El Calafate, gateway to the majestic world of glaciers. El Calafate is a rustic, charming town with well-kept gardens and pretty homes set before a stunning Patagonian backdrop.

Enjoy a full day at Perito Moreno Glacier, considered among the most beautiful in the world. Your day includes mini-trekking over this colossal sheet of ice with your expert guide. Later, sail close to the glacier to see the almost constantly calving walls of ice.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport in El Calafate for your flight to Buenos Aires where you will board your homebound flight.
