The Serengeti's habitats range from short grass plains traversed by huge herds of zebra and gazelle to deep central valleys hunted by lion and cheetah. Fly to Kusini and explore them all during your two-night stay. The Serengeti is home to dozens of species including antelope, hyena, leopard, giraffe, lion, buffalo and cheetah. Each year, the Serengeti is the scene of the spectacular wildebeest and zebra migration, when millions of these animals make their annual trek in search of fresh grasses and water. The jewel in Africa's crown, Masai Mara is host to the most spectacular array of wildlife. The Siria Escarpment, together with the acacia dotted plains, creates scenery of stunning beauty. Game viewing is never dull here, and patience is often rewarded with unique wildlife sightings. You may wish to learn about a local community project: visit a wetlands preservation project, a community biogas plant or a tree nursery, where you can plant your own indigenous tree.
