Travel deep into the Outback to discover the heart of Australia: the cattle station. Savor the pleasures of station life, where a day mustering cattle across thousands of acres is capped by an al fresco dinner at your idyllic homestead.
Fly to Kununurra then board a scenic flight for a spectacular two hour journey of the skies above the massive Bungle Bungles and Argyle Diamond Mine.
On landing back in Kununurra, drive to Home Valley
Station, visiting Diggers Rest en route, a retreat for the film crew
during the filming of Australia. In Home Valley Station, you are
welcomed by local Aboriginal guides before settling into your Grass
Castle accommodations.
*Activities at Home Valley Station may vary by season.
Day 2: Darwin/Kununurra/Home Valley Station*
Today, enjoy an authentic Mini Muster cattle handling experience. An afternoon canoe ride takes you upstream to the start of an exhilarating "rock-hopping" bush walk into the Bindoola Gorge, where the thriving aquatic ecosystem is revealed. Here you are free to swim, soak and explore. Return in time to relax before an exquisite champagne sunset tour at a private lookout. Back at the Homestead, dine al fresco under the Kimberley stars and a
boab tree dressed with fairy lights.
Day 3: Home Valley Station
After breakfast, fly to Broome and enjoy a private tour of this historic pearling town. Visit Gantheaume Point, site of a 130 million-year-old dinosaur footprint. Continue your exploration of Broome with visits to Rising Sun Pictures, Chinatown and the Japanese Cemetery, the final resting place for over 900 Japanese pearl divers.
Day 4: Home Valley Station/Broome
This morning, join your hovercraft pilot for a journey over low water, tidal flats and sand bars. Spend the afternoon at leisure in Cable Beach. Tour Willie Creek Pearl Farm, home to several of the world's largest and most prized gems.
