Day 1: Alice Springs
This morning, meet the Arrernte owners of Mparntwe (Alice Springs) at the Aboriginal Art & Cultural Centre. Spend the day visiting local artists in the Alice Springs region, including the Papunya Tula Artist's Cooperative, where you have the rare opportunity to join them in their work environment.

Day 2: Alice Springs
Arrive by private plane at Yuendumu, where you view artwork at the Warlukurlangu Art Centre, representing some 160 Warlpiri and Anmatjerre artists. This 20-year-old art center is owned by the Aboriginal people and offers brightly colored paintings, mostly in the dot style, to admire or purchase. After lunch, continue to Balgo Hills, a remote Aboriginal community where the painters are considered the most innovative of Central Australia.

Day 3: Alice Springs/Halls Creek
This morning, travel to another Aboriginal community, Warmun, home to dozens of internationally renowned ochre painters. View or purchase their work at Warmun Art Center at Turkey Creek - every dollar of revenue is returned back to the artist community. Fly over Bungle Bungles for a bird's-eye view of its colorful sandstone domes. Arrive at Bullo River Station, home to over 9,000 cattle, and enjoy a relaxing day and evening with the station's owners. Bullo River Station was made famous by top-selling author Sara Henderson, whose American husband Charles Henderson developed Bullo River in the 1950s; their story of station life is vividly chronicled in Sara's books.
