ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrive in Covington and Celebration Belle Dinner Cruise
Come with us to kick off America’s 250th Anniversary in Cincinnati at America’s River Roots Festival. The festival features music, food and nine different riverboats gathered  on the Ohio River. Your first riverboat experience is aboard  the Celebration Belle out of Moline, IL. Enjoy a delicious dinner while cruising in style along the Ohio River.  After dinner dance to the sounds of the live onboard entertainment playing a variety of music from yesterday  and today featuring genres such as Country and Rock ‘N Roll.  Be sure to take the evening air gazing at the stars while strolling the decks. Day 2 - Newport Gangsters, American Signs and the Belle of Louisville
Begin the day with a local guide for the acclaimed Newport Gangster Tour. This immersive experience will take you through the infamous streets where notorious gangsters like Moe Dalitz, George Remus, and Dutch Schultz made their mark. Hear the captivating tales of fortune and downfall that shaped Newport’s past and laid the groundwork for the modern gaming industry. Then, visit the American Sign Museum. Representing nearly 100 years of signage, the museum is dedicated to preservation and restoration of American history. Climb aboard the elegant Belle of Louisville, the only remaining authentic steamboat from the great American packet boat era. Built in 1914, the riverboat is a National Historic Landmark. Enjoy a delicious lunch aboard the ship featuring regionally inspired favorites while enjoying the surrounding skyline. Later, visit the unique Creation Museum which offers a chronological retelling of biblical history. Meals: B, L

Day 3 - Newport Aquarium, Riverboat Race and Hofbrauhaus
The day begins at the Newport Aquarium. Here, you will see thousands of the world’s most exotic aquatic creatures. Waddle with playful penguins, meet rare white alligators, be surrounded by sharks and surprised by smiling stingrays. Encounter thrilling adventures like the first-in-the-world Shark Bridge, where you can cross inches above a tank full of sharks on a rope bridge. After lunch, you will climb aboard the River Queen, a tastefully decorated and impeccably preserved riverboat exuding a romantic charm, of a bygone era. You will enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience as you are part of an authentic Riverboat Race. You will cheer on your vessel as it rushes to victory against a worthy competitor. Tonight, dinner is at the Hofbrauhaus, featuring authentic Bavarian cuisine and music in a fun and lively atmosphere. Meals: B, D
