DAY 1, Thursday - Depart for the Czech Republic
Depart for Prague, the Czech Republic

DAY 2, Friday - Arrive in Prague
Arrive in Prague, considered one of Europe's most attractive cities; its historic city center has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Transfer to your hotel independently. The rest of the day is at leisure to rest, relax and adjust to the new time zone Overnight: Prague

DAY 3, Saturday - Full Day in Prague
This morning, discover Prague, with its over 1000-year-old history and magnificent architecture. On the optional morning tour, travel by coach while learning the history of Prague and its famous neighborhoods (Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town). Continue on foot to view the Prague Castle complex and the many historical buildings therein. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing river cruise with gorgeous views of Charles Bridge, St. Vitus Cathedral, Petrin Hill and the National Theatre, Prague's main cultural attractions. DAY 4, Sunday - Full Day in Prague
Today is free to further explore this beautiful city independently, or perhaps join the optional, Kutná Hora, a medieval center of silver mining. The variety of Kutná Hora architectural monuments and its well-preserved town center reflect its ancient fame and wealth. Begin with a stroll around Kutná Hora to visit the Gothic cathedral of St. Barbara and Italian Court. Admire the beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque burgher houses within the city center. Continue to Sedlec, where legend has it that a handful of earth from Christ's grave was brought to and scattered over the Ossuary, thus turning it into a pilgrimage site for believers from all over Central Europe. Visit the Ossuary chapel decorated with more than 40,000 human bones, including a chandelier and a crest of the Schwarzenberg noble family Optional: Kutna Hora (PM) Overnight: Prague Meals: Breakfast

DAY 5, Monday - Transfer from Prague to Budapest
This morning bid farewell to Prague and depart for Budapest, one of Europe’s most delightful cities, often called “The Paris of the East”. Arrive in Budapest in the late afternoon and begin exploring this colorful city with its two very distinct sections - Buda and Pest. Once independent cities on opposite banks of the Danube River, the two cities were brought together in the 19th century with the opening of the Chain Bridge Overnight: Budapest Meals: Breakfast

DAY 6, Tuesday - Full Day in Budapest
The day is yours to explore some of Budapest's fine museums, shop to your heart's content at the bustling Covered Market, or perhaps pamper yourself at one of Budapest's well-known spas. Or participate in the optional morning panoramic tour that begins on the Pest side of the city. View the Parliament, City Park and the historical Heroes' Square. Cross to Buda to see the Royal Palace, Matthias Church and the graceful medieval architecture along the cobbled streets. Leisure time this afternoon to shop for Hungarian embroidery, fine porcelain and, of course, the renowned Hungarian paprika Optional: Budapest City Tour (AM) Overnight: Budapest Meals: Breakfast

DAY 7, Wednesday - Full Day in Budapest
Spend another day at leisure to further explore this majestic city. Walk through the lively streets, stopping at an outdoor café in the Town Square to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Or, participate in the optional tour through the charming cities surrounding the Danube. Begin in the medieval town of Visegrad, home of the former royal residence of King Matthias Corvinus, for a spectacular view of the Danube Valley. Continue to Esztergom, one of the oldest towns in Hungary. Upon arrival, visit the Esztergom Basilica, the largest church in Hungary and current seat of the Catholic Church. The tour continues to the Baroque artists' village of Szentendre where you will enjoy a guided walking tour of the town, before returning to Budapest Optional: Danube Bend Tour (AM) Overnight: Budapest Meals: Breakfast

DAY 8, Thursday - Depart Hungary
