About this property
A 250 acre Hudson Valley estate hotel. Home for centuries to naturalists, poets and romantics. Revived and renewed for the locavore, the creative, the curious and adventurous.
Go ahead, sleep in. All guestrooms include luxurious Frette linens, king-sized beds, Bluetooth-enabled Tivoli audio radios, complimentary wireless internet and Direct TV. Indulge in a sumptuous breakfast in bed, or a selection from our House Menu, if the mood strikes.
Dining at Troutbeck is about time and place. From the ingredients on the plate to the company at the table, the goals are pleasure and presence.
Our Executive Chef sources from the best local farmers and purveyors, whenever possible, to thoughtfully build a new American menu of dishes that are at once elegant and approachable. We pride ourselves on being able to satisfy each guest’s appetite — whether it’s for a Chef’s Tasting Menu on a special occasion or for a simple snack at any time.
Troutbeck offers casual fine dining with menus that change regularly with the seasons.
The Barns are the latest addition to the Troutbeck landscape. Clad in timber reclaimed from the decommissioned Tappan Zee Bridge - which once spanned the Hudson River - the Barns are rooted here and designed to elevate the spirit. Over successive generations, the native wildflower meadow we are nurturing will envelop and embrace the buildings, sheltered beneath a canopy of witness oaks.
