About this property
Shinta Mani Wild – a radical new fusion of world-class design, all-inclusive hospitality and conservation, where your stay makes a real difference in protecting unique and endangered species.
The South Cardamom Forest is the largest rainforest in Cambodia and home to more than fifty globally threatened animal species including elephants, clouded leopards and black bears, plus over 2,000 species of plants, and the lucky few guests of Shinta Mani Wild...
Bill Bensley scattered just 15 riverbank tents across these 350 protected hectares, designing each with maximal wow décor and minimal environmental intervention. An arrival option into the hotel lobby includes a 400 meter zip-line adventure over mature forests and a waterfall!
We have created 15 private tents promising the utmost comfort and luxury with breathtaking views along the riverbank. Each location was meticulously planned over a seven year period by a process of minimal intervention and understanding the idiosyncrasies of the river valley.
The renowned hotel designer calls WILD his favourite, for encompassing everything closest to his heart: conservation, wildlife protection, social responsibility, education of guests and locals, sustainable employment, and romantic storytelling.
