About this property
Amanyara is a secluded beachside resort situated on the northwest coast of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos. Its name combines the Sanskrit- derived word for ‘peace’ with yara, the word for ‘place’ in the language of the Arawak Amerindians. Amanyara borders Northwest Point Marine National Park, acclaimed for some of the world’s best wall and reef diving. The property enjoys a contemporary layout and design, with an Aman Spa, Beach Club and Nature Discovery Centre. Thirty-six timber-shingled guest Pavilions renovated in 2020 and 20 Villas are tucked along the coast or situated slightly inland overlooking tranquil ponds. Entry to the resort is through an elegant reception pavilion that opens onto a central reflection pond. Resort public areas were renovated in 2023. Surrounded by mahogany trees, the pond is framed on one side by the Aman Essential boutique, and on the other side by the Bar and the Restaurant. Fronted by the resort’s 50-metre main swimming pool and sundeck, the circular Bar offers a dramatic soaring roof and expansive sea views.
