Hotel Jerome an Auberge Resort

A modern Aspen Landmark since 1889. Hotel Jerome has been the social hub of Aspen since its opening in 1889 at the height of the town’s silver boom, known as the place where all great stories were born and are told. As the only Aspen hotel to survive the silver crash, the long pre-ski-resort winters, and the Depression, we’ve seen cowboys ride through our doors, 10th Mountain Division soldiers gather round over pints after training on the slopes, and Hunter S. Thompson holding court during his run for sheriff. You can’t experience Aspen, without experiencing Jerome. Aspen's historic Hotel Jerome, an Auberge Resort, embodies the essence of elevated Rocky Mountain living. The Hotel features a tasteful mix of contemporary and authentic Western furnishings, modern-day luxuries, historic charm and dining options that highlight locally sourced cuisine, all while being located in the heart of town. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy over 300 days of sunshine each year while taking advantage of world class skiing, snowshoeing and snowboarding on any one of Aspen Snowmass' four mountains. During the warmer months, visitors can opt for over 120 mesmerizing miles of hiking and biking trails, fly-fishing, golf and much more making Hotel Jerome a perfect destination hotel year-round. The Hotel also recently opened a beautiful Garden for al fresco dining, newly enhanced swimming pool/hot tub area and a secret speakeasy bar, Bad Harriet, already a hot spot amongst hotel guests and locals. Hotel Jerome also offers private residences for those seeking a home away from home in the heart of Aspen.
