One of Nick’s most memorable travel experiences was exploring Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island on Tauck’s Canadian Maritime Provinces tour with his wife. From incredible fresh seafood to the scenic coastline, the journey showcased the beauty and charm of Eastern Canada. A favorite memory was spending time on a quiet beach along the Gulf of St. Lawrence, taking in the peaceful surroundings and natural beauty of the region.
What Nick enjoys most about travel is discovering destinations through their food, history, and local culture. Whether sampling regional wines in Portugal, trying fresh seafood in Canada, or exploring historic landmarks and museums, he believes authentic local experiences create the strongest connection to a destination. His curiosity and love of learning often lead him to research a destination’s history long before he arrives.
Northern Italy sits at the top of Nick’s travel wish list, particularly the regions of Piedmont, Lombardy, and Emilia-Romagna, where he hopes to experience the area’s renowned food, wine, and culture. His favorite travel tip is to pack versatile clothing that can be mixed and matched throughout a trip, making travel easier and helping avoid overpacking.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys reading about history, exploring new restaurants, and expanding his knowledge of destinations around the world. He believes that understanding the culture and history of a place before you visit makes the experience even more rewarding, and he enjoys sharing that enthusiasm with guests as they plan their own adventures.
