About Gomoti Plains
The Gomoti Plains lie along the Gomoti River system on the southeastern side of the Okavango Delta — a private concession of seasonal floodplains, open grassland, and island woodlands that receives only a handful of guests at a time. When the flood pushes down the Gomoti's channels, the plains become a magnet for wildlife spilling out of the neighboring Moremi ecosystem: elephant and buffalo in large herds, zebra and tsessebe on the grass, and red lechwe bounding through the shallows.
This is also serious predator country. Lion prides den on the islands, leopard hunt the tree lines, and the wider Gomoti area is well known for African wild dog. As a private concession it offers the full Botswana toolkit — off-road driving, guided walks, night drives, and mokoro excursions when the water allows — with a sense of having the delta almost entirely to yourself.
