ITINERARY

Day 1: Calgary
Your admission to the Calgary Tower is included in your package: like feeling like you're suspended mid-air? Then you'll love the vantage point on top of the Calgary Tower, with stellar views from 525 feet above the city. With a 360 degree view, spot the rolling foothills that surround Calgary and meet the Rocky Mountains in the distance. A free multimedia tour is included with admission.Explore the Calgary Tower on your own. Transportation to and from the Calgary Tower is not included. 

Day 2: Calgary to Banff
Depart Calgary this morning with your rental car for a two-hour drive to Banff. Highlights include Lake Minnewanka, the Banff Gondola, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore Banff on your own. Overnight in Banff.

Day 3: Banff to Lake Louise
Enjoy the short drive to Lake Louise into Yoho National Park to view some of its natural wonders. Among the attractions are the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to enjoy this magnificent location. Overnight in Lake Louise.

Day 4: Lake Louise to Jasper
Consisting of a 400 metre (1,640 feet) interpretive boardwalk and a glass-floored observation platform extending 30 metres (98 feet) out over the Sunwapta Valley, Glacier Skywalk takes spectacular scenery and a rare view of nature to unbelievable heights.Note: Appropriate footwear, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended.    Operating Hours:May 01 - May 31 & September 02 - September 30 - Daily 10:00 to 17:00June 01 - September 01 - Daily 9:00 to 18:00October 01 - October 19 - Daily 10:00 to 16:00Dates and times are subject tochange, based on weather and light.

Day 5: Jasper
Today is free to explore Jasper National Park with your rental car. Among the highlights are Pyramid and Patricia Lakes, Maligne Canyon, Miette Hot Springs, Maligne Lake and Whistlers Mountain. This afternoon return your rental vehicle in Jasper. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 6: Jasper to Quesnel
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the mountain resort of Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to the charming rural town of Quesnel, gateway to the North Cariboo. Pass through the Rocky Mountain Trench, with the steep Rocky and Cariboo Mountains either side, and on to the rolling hills and vast forests of British Columbia?s Northern Interior. Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Yellowhead Pass and Moose Lake. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer passes through the town of Prince George and follows the Fraser River into Quesnel. Overnight in Quesnel.

Day 7: Quesnel to Whistler
Your journey continues Southwestward today to the four-season resort of Whistler, host of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games alpine events. Enjoy breathtaking and varied scenery, from the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon, through the rolling hills and vast ranchlands of the Cariboo Plateau, to the river canyons and lush farmland of the Pemberton Valley. Highlights include sweeping views of the Fraser Canyon, the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world, and the shorelines of glacial-fed Seton Lake and Anderson Lake. Your rail journey today ends on arrival at Pemberton station where you will board a motorcoach which will transfer you to Whistler (approximated a 35-minute drive). Overnight in Whistler.

Day 8: Whistler to Vancouver
Your admission to the Vancouver Lookout is included in your package: get a 360 degree view of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Your adventure starts with a 40 second glass elevator that climbs over 550 feet to the panoramic observation deck. From here, you'll gaze out onto Metro Vancouver’s cosmopolitan downtown, the vast Pacific Ocean, and the beautiful North Shore mountains. Explore the Vancouver Lookout on your own. Transportation to and from the Vancouver Lookout is not included. Open from: 8:30am to 10:30pm. 

Day 9: Vancouver
Your journey ends upon checkout from your Vancouver hotel.
