Tauck operated the cruise efficiently and smoothly.

Fantastic. Southern France was just too hot in early August 2024, about 10 degrees above normal for that area in August.

Deltas flight cancellation made a mess with two days missing from cruise. Viking said one thing about support which they didn’t honor. Communication was lacking from them. Viking air scheduled Lufthansa flights for return. Old plane without adequate air filtration/individual control/vents. Lots of coughing & nose blowing! Minimal flight service considering premium seats. Had to navigate 4 flights of stairs to standup bus ride to plane to navigate 2 more flights of stairs to plane (Frankfurt) terrible system! Avoid Lufthansa and Frankfort airport.

We book Holland America from Boston as we live outside of Boston and it is easy to get to the pier. While HAL is not our favorite line, we do enjoy the food, the room is acceptable, the crew is one of the best, entertainment not so much. We enjoy a quick and short getaway for a week in the summer. Pavlus, our agent Susan, has been great in answering my questions. We have referred our friends to try the agency and they have. I like that Susan sends out her business cards so it is easy to refer people to her. Looking forward to our Regent cruise in February!! Thanks, Susan, for answering my questions!

Viking great and Susan Bender excellent.

Viking includes an excursion at each port. However, many were filled and not available, particularly in Longyearbyen. The process of booking the excursions was stressful and disappointing. I have taken 7 Viking river cruises. This was my 2nd Viking Ocean cruise, it may be my last.

After trying AmaWaterways I think that I prefer Viking. Its staff, food, decor and ambience were a notch or two higher than AMA,s. I did have great trip though and AMA,s excursions were excellent.

Susan,as usual, was very helpful in making arrangements and getting answers to our questions. Sandy and I are long-time Pavlus clients. This particular Tauck trip was not up to Tauck standards. It involved too many long bus trips, a tour guide that operated by the book, with few positive surprises, and a feeling we were being nickeled and dimed. Inclusive wine, beer and alcoholic drinks were not standard. Hotel rooms were small and unairconditioned, maid service was frequently sub-par, and some of the educational guides were uninspiring. There were too many stops on the trip and too many different beds over the length of the trip.

we went on Scandinavian tour on June 27 to July 10.. we have noticed that Tauck has increased the price and reduced the services. Not all hotels were even 3 star and the meal ristrictios were annoying and not acceptable. I asked for an extra can of cock and did not get it !! as they said not covered!!! Most of all, the tour director Nils Wurster was not very good. Very opinionated and at times rode.. He exposed all 48 old travelers to an old man who was coughing extensively and seemed to be at the peak of a respiratory infection . He was giving a dis jointed lecture and drinking water every 2 minutes. Several travelers got Covid Covid 2-4 days after this lecture including my wife. This lecture must have been cancelled by tour director. Tauck my be liable for this outbreak.. Nils was very dimissive in his response to my e mail and responded with idiotic and some how ignorant comments. Susan Bender has report my concerns to Tauck. Thank you..

The best Regent cruise! Maybe the Mediterrean itinerary, sunny weather, RSS newest ship, the Grandeur, Master Captain Aris & Regent Crew. Not sure why this past cruise was so memorable, but THE Best so far. Scotty & I will have a total of 7 cruises completed by end of 2025, God willing. Susan & Pavlus staff put our worries at ease. With payments schedules, international flights, Venice wanting day-use fee while we were there, etc., All these questions, concerns, worries were very well accommodated efficiently & expertly with Debbie, LeAnn, Jessica, Dawn, Dyenna & Denise & ALL the PAVLUS staff. Debbie at Pavlus was referred to us by Jim & Jane Stoddard, Regent world, Titanium level cruisers. Travelers get what they pay for, so cheap & be disappointed OR go big & spend the extra money & enjoy the luxury & pampering, As we say in Texas, "Go BIG, or go home," Will continue to use Pavlus, as have next 3 cruises booked through Pavlus. Thank you for including the Distinctive Voyages - "free Day" in Istanbul, lovely touring & sightseeing with the DV group. A nice addition to a wonderful, memorable cruise.

Our Viking cruise was amazing! The entire staff, accommodations and ship far exceeded our expectations. We were truly impressed with the entire vacation and look forward to the next one!

Had some issues initially with booking dates being incorrect. These were corrected quickly. I found the confirmation of flights to be confusing as the agency uses a control number as does the airline so check in was a bit difficult again i was contacted in a timely manner and it was corrected. I wrote to the agent about the bad experience i had with my outgoing flight on American Airlines and she said she would notify someone at Pavlus. we also had a problem with one hotel where the two bedded room ended up being one bed. The Hotel was able to fix the issue and we asked the agent to make sure the other hotels were aware of the need for 2 bed. This issue was also delt with satisfactorily.

We like Pavlus and Viking a lot and have told many people about you. However, Viking should not schedule stop in Greenland in early June! Very disappointing to many of us that ice cancelled those stops. I am pleased that Viking apologized and sent us a credit for a future cruise.

This was our 15th Tauck tour, and was top-notch as usual. Unfortunately, guest(s) had COVID early in tour, and made no effort to minimize infecting other people. By the end of the tour, it had spread it to other guests, including my wife and myself. This is our 2nd time with COVID infection...the 1st time also happened similarly on another Tauck tour. We know that this is simply the new acceptance of risk with travel now, but it is causing us to rethink our frequent Tauck tours, and we might end up canceling some of our existing five Tauck bookings, and do independent travel instead. Pavlus continues to do a superb job with our travel arrangements.

It was a great trip, it covered all the places I wanted to see and our guide was top-notch. One thing I would suggest you do is change the activity level from moderate to strenuous. It was anything but moderate! When one has to hike up to a half a mile to the bus because it can't navigate the narrow streets of Rome, and hike up to three quarters of a mile to eat an evening meal, and on uneven, cobblestone streets, it was strenuous. Then time constraints on Monday, May 6 meant we climbed the "high" steps of the colosseum, then go on a walking tour of between one and two hours, I wouldn't call that a "moderate" day. I was not able to complete that tour but went back to our hotel but I was told there were any number of folks who had problems with the length of it and the heat of the day. I'm not complaining about the trip, only that I believe it is mislabeled!

I appreciated getting the Pavlus discount on the Globus tour. It helped pay for my trip insurance. The Globus Tour, Italian Treasures, was fabulous…especially the tour director and the guides who made history come alive.

The Silver Sea cruise was not at par. A huge disappointment for a previous Silver Sea traveler. Some staff was rude and even arrogant. First word that comes out of staff's mouths is "NO". At this price point the answer should always be "YES SIR Mr. CIDEKO, let me see what I can do." I can go on and on and on with issues!

Our Viking excursion on the Danube was perfect. As previously, Susan Bender and the Pavlus team provided excellent and timely service and updates.

Susan is wonderful. I am very grateful for all the help she gives me. The cruise was wonderful. American Airlines was a nightmare. Everything they could mess up they did, including giving me a boarding pass for someone else!!!

I am not sure of the dividing line of responsibility between Pavlus and Globus, who did the detailed planning. Pavlus did help mitigate our intercity travel when Globus renegades on facilitating the flights. So thank you for that help. Susan was very friendly, sincerely proactive. Neither Pavlus nor Globus were helpful in securing communication with local guides prior to the trip. - as we had some unique questions. All in all, the service satisfactory on the range.

Silver Sea did a lousy job on our air travel plans back from the cruise. They routed us from our disembarkation point in Ft. Lauderdale and made us travel to Miami airport which took us 45 minutes by a bus full of sneezing, coughing passengers. From there, after waiting a couple of hours, they flew us to JFK on American Airlines, and we had a 3+ hour wait until our AA flight to SFO. We arrived at SFO after midnight, which was after 3 AM eastern time, the circadian clock we were on. It was a 21-hour ordeal from when we woke up in Florida until we got home. That was the longest, most arduous, and tiring trip home of our many trips in the past. Pavlus should have taken over the travel after seeing this ridiculous routing and gotten us a flight from Ft. Lauderdale airport directly to SFO just as you did in November 2023 when we disembarked in Ft. Lauderdale from a Viking cruise booked by Susan. It was simple, quick and convenient and on Delta Airlines. When I raised this routing disaster at the time of booking, the response was that Silver Sea partners did not include air travel from Ft. Lauderdale to SFO. Susan and I should have stopped the process right there and gotten our own travel plans. I regret not putting my foot down at that time. This air travel routing made the end of our trip miserable.

Susan used to respond almost immediately. This time I left at least 3 messages and finally called to 800 number to get any agent.

It was a nice surprise that Susan gave us a free excursion from Pavlus. These kind of extras make us value our relationship with Susan and Pavlus

We had a wonderful Rhine River cruise with an extension in Lake Como before the cruise and an extension in Amsterdam after the cruise. The entire trip was wonderful, Viking did a terrific job coordinating transportation to and from the airports and to and from extensions and the cruise. Susan was a great help scheduling this trip, as well as a previous date for this trip which was ultimately canceled due to Covid concerns. She transferred our vouchers and helped us schedule this trip in combination with some specials Viking was offering for this date. I have booked 26 land tours, river cruises, and ocean cruises (some of these have been as long as 6 weeks plus) through Susan Bender since 2002. That is 21 years of travel bookings over two (2) decades. Susan has helped my wife and I see the world and am I very grateful for that. What a person witnesses in the world each day traveling changes a persons outlook on life. The world and people are so amazing and beautiful it is hard to describe. After my tour or cruise has been booked I am also very grateful for all of the those who have helped finalize the booking if there were problems, and with the pandemic and it’s cruise cancellations there were problems and rebooking’s that had to be done. Susan was a real trouper to help in that tedious task of rebooking and helping with the Future Cruise Credits. Others who have helped over the years that I can always count on are Victoria who always gets me to someone available in customer service. Customer service has done an amazing job with every detail. A big shout out to Brian in Vermont for his help in getting FCC’s and straightening out other complex issues with cruise lines. LeAnn for her help in rebooking airlines after cancellations, a very difficult task also. Thanks to the many others in customer service who have helped me over the years and to the new manager of customer service who has even taken upon herself to help me with a couple of issues. We were on an Australian cruise when it was cut short in March 2020 because of the pandemic, the eight cruise cancellations that followed the last two years, but this month on January 2 we were able to take our first cruise! Wow, what an experience, on a ship that holds normally close to 3,000 passengers but we only had 592 passengers! It felt like a yacht with our own personal servants. It is good to be back traveling and we now look forward to our cruises the rest of this year. In November this year, my wife and I will be celebrating our fiftieth (Golden) Wedding Anniversary, so I plan on making more river or ocean cruise bookings through Susan shortly, for next year and beyond! The Viking Rhine Cruise was again a happy event for us. Even though our first day in Amsterdam was diverted to Dusseldorf as Netherland completed shut down on 12/18/21 due to COVID, Viking gave us an alternative that was equally satisfying. It was great to be travel again after almost 2 years at home. Susan was very helpful and we had to change our flights several times due to COVID documentation or testing requirements for layover. My son and his fiancée missed connecting flight from UK to Amsterdam. We almost missed our connecting from Paris to DC due to long lines in France immigration check. It was full of anxiety what to do if we missed the flight, whether we need to be tested again to meet the 24-hr US COVID test requirement, and what to do to change the flight. A lot of worries. Nevertheless, we are back at home in Washington, DC.

Oceania Rivera is a wonderful ship.. We are repeat travelers on this ship. Pavlus Travel makes everything so easy. They are great to work with. Thank you!
