Drive south this morning to Tarangire National Park, a picturesque landscape defined by towering baobab trees, wide open savannas, and umbrella-shaped acacias. The Tarangire River serves as a vital permanent water source, drawing wildlife throughout the year and creating excellent game viewing opportunities. The park is especially renowned for its large elephant population, often seen gathering along the riverbanks or moving in impressive herds across the plains. After lunch, set out on your first game drive in search of the iconic “Big Five”, lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo, as well as the many other species that thrive in this beautiful and less visited reserve. As part of Globus family of brands Lighthouse Project, your visit contributes to Wildlife Conservation Network’s Lion Recovery Fund, aimed at recovering the lion population in Africa after more than half have been lost over the past 25 years.
