Day 1

Day 1 - Arrive in California

Arrive in San Francisco, California with included transfers to your hotel. Meet your Tour Manager in the hotel lobby at 6:00 p.m. for dining suggestions.
Day 2

Day 2 - San Francisco Touring and Bay Cruise

Today, a local guide joins you this morning for a sightseeing tour of the “City by the Bay,” San Francisco. Discover the many sights for which the city is renowned such as their bustling Chinatown, North Beach, Civic Center and the Financial District. Free time for browsing at Pier 39 begins the afternoon, before an invigorating cruise of San Francisco Bay. Tonight, your welcome dinner is held on Fisherman’s Wharf. Meals: B, D
Day 3

Day 3 - California Wine Tasting and Humboldt Redwoods State Park

Departing San Francisco this morning you will pass through the rich fertile grape growing region of California where a stop has been scheduled for a tasting at a local Estate Winery. Later, see the huge stands of magnificent redwoods in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Meals: B, L
Day 4

Day 4 - Rogue River Jetboat Trip

Following the spectacular Oregon coastline, you come to Gold Beach where you will embark on a jetboat excursion along the Rouge River. You will follow a portion of the old mailboat route before continuing to Coos Bay. Meals: B, L
Day 5

Day 5 - Oregon Dunes Buggy Tour

Your coastal adventure continues to Florence where you will explore the fabulous 250-foot sand dunes at Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area by four-wheel-drive vehicle. Then, stop at the Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic Viewpoint to see one of the most photographed lighthouses along the coast. Meals: B, D
Day 6

Day 6 - Yaquina Head Lighthouse and Sea Life Discovery Cruise

This morning travel along the Oregon coast to see the 1873 Yaquina Head Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in the state at 93 feet tall. In Newport, you will stop at the Sea Lion Docks where wild California sea lions haul out of the water to bark, sun themselves and put on a show. Later, climb aboard your vessel for a sea life cruise narrated by a naturalist guide. Depending on the time of year, be on the lookout for gray whales, harbor porpoise, seals, sea lions and an abundance of marine birds. Later, continue to Portland. Meals: B, D
Day 7

Day 7 - Columbia River Gorge Touring

Today features the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, where sheer cliffs rise as high as 2,000 feet! Spectacular views of the gorge will include historic Vista House, the splendid Multnomah Falls and the mammoth Bonneville Lock and Dam. Lunch is at the beautiful Timberline Lodge located on the south slope of Mt. Hood. This afternoon, a guided tour of Portland includes the downtown area on the Willamette River, Old Town Historic District and famed International Rose Gardens. Meals: B, L
Day 8

Day 8 - Mount St Helens Interpretive Center and Sunset Dinner Cruise

This morning, you will cross into Washington state for a stop at the Mount St Helens Interpretive Center. Considered the “Gateway to the Volcano” the Interpretive Center teaches you about what happened on that fateful day in 1980 through interpretive exhibits and a working seismograph. Tonight, enjoy a scenic dinner cruise along the Willamette River, with stunning sunset views of the city skyline. The cruise features a three-course Northwest dinner, live piano music and narration on the outdoor decks. A perfect way to end an exciting Pacific Northwest adventure. Meals: B, D
Day 9

Day 9 - Travel Home

Depart for home from this memorable vacation with a group transfer to Portland International Airport for flights out after 11:00 a.m. Meal: B
