You might follow the Serpentine, with swans moving across the water and gravel crunching along the path, browse the polished window displays of Knightsbridge or make your way along the Thames towards Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. At London’s St Pancras Station, you’ll meet your Travel Director and board the high-speed Eurostar, traveling through the historic Channel Tunnel to Brussels before driving on to Amsterdam. There, bicycle bells ring beside you along the canals and gabled houses shimmer in the water. Later, join your Travel Director and fellow travelers for a Welcome Reception cruise through the Old City, passing under bridges and between tree-lined banks as the city’s narrow waterways guide you towards dinner. From Amsterdam, your route runs into Germany, taking you to Boppard before you board your Rhine cruise to Sankt Goar. At a traditional Venetian glassblowing workshop, you catch golden flashes of molten glass glistening in the furnace as expert artisans shape it into delicate forms with centuries-old skill. Your private cruise carries you towards St Mark’s Square, where you look up at the basilica’s gold mosaics, Byzantine arches and marble detail, traces of Venice’s former wealth and power.
