Day 1 ARRIVE IN CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA.

Day 2 CAIRNS. EXCURSION TO THE OUTER GREAT BARRIER REEF.
Today, prepare for the experience of a lifetime when you board a catamaran and CRUISE to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Explore this underwater world that is a dazzling kaleidoscope of color and brilliance. Choose to SNORKEL, take a semi-submersible WATERCRAFT TOUR, or attend a presentation by a marine biologist. Return to Cairns, where the evening is at leisure.
Day 3 CAIRNS.
A full day at leisure to explore tropical Cairns. Perhaps select an optional excursion to visit a zoo to see crocodiles, kangaroos, and koalas, or to the quiet mountain village of Kuranda via the Kuranda Scenic Railway.
Day 4 CAIRNS–ULURU (AYERS ROCK).
Today, fly to Uluru. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 5 ULURU (AYERS ROCK).
This morning, rise early for an inspiring sunrise over Kata Tjuta. Witness incredible views over the dunes and stunning desert landscape. Continue to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre which houses an amazing collection of ceramics, paintings and punu (woodwork) from the Anangu people, the traditional custodians of Uluru. Later this afternoon, visit “Sunset Strip” for a DRINK & CANAPES, and to witness the changing colors of the rock.
Day 6 ULURU (AYERS ROCK)–ADELAIDE.
Today, fly to Adelaide (via Alice Springs). The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day 7 ADELAIDE. EXCURSION TO KANGAROO ISLAND.
Early this morning, depart Adelaide and travel by motorcoach and ferry to KANGAROO ISLAND, one of the world’s last unspoiled habitats. Visit SEAL BAY with a national park ranger to see a colony of rare Australian sea lions. Explore FLINDERS CHASE NATIONAL PARK, a sanctuary for native Australian animals, including kangaroos, wallabies, and koalas. Stop here for a walk on REMARKABLE ROCKS, with stunning views of the sea. You will also take a boardwalk down a rugged cliff face to ADMIRALS ARCH, a unique rock formation and home to a colony of New Zealand fur seals, which can be seen resting on the rocks and playing in the waves. Return to Adelaide late this evening.
Day 8 ADELAIDE.
A full day at leisure to explore Adelaide. You may choose to join an optional excursion to Barossa Valley for wine tasting and lunch at a winery.
Day 9 ADELAIDE–MELBOURNE.
Today, fly to Melbourne, the cosmopolitan heart of Australia. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day 10 MELBOURNE.
Your morning guided sightseeing tour includes Federation Square, St. Patrick’s Park, Queen Victoria Market (when open), the Italian Quarter, the Shrine of Remembrance, and St. Kilda Beach. Your tour ends at the EUREKA SKYDECK for awe-inspiring views of Melbourne from the Southern Hemisphere’s highest viewing platform. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day 11 MELBOURNE.
Enjoy a full day at leisure for independent activities. You may want to join an excursion to Phillip Island to watch the world-famous Penguin Parade, travel the spectacular Great Ocean Road, or dine aboard a tramcar restaurant as it winds its way through the streets of Melbourne.
Day 12 MELBOURNE–SYDNEY.
Today, fly to beautiful Sydney. The rest of the day is at your leisure for independent activities.
Day 13 SYDNEY.
Enjoy a morning guided sightseeing tour that includes an Opera House and Harbour Bridge photo stop, and a visit to stunning BONDI BEACH, considered by many to be the most beautiful beach in Sydney. The afternoon is at your leisure.
Day 14 SYDNEY.
Enjoy a full day at leisure in this beautiful city. Choose from our selection of optional excursions, including a cruise on Sydney Harbour and a climb to the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Day 15 SYDNEY–QUEENSTOWN, NEW ZEALAND.
Today fly to Queenstown, New Zealand. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day 16 QUEENSTOWN. EXCURSION TO MILFORD SOUND.
Travel by motorcoach along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau, gateway to FIORDLAND NATIONAL PARK. View the Mirror Lakes as you pass through Eglinton Valley. From the Homer Tunnel, emerge into Cleddau Valley. Join your Milford Sound CRUISE for an unforgettable experience.
Day 17 QUEENSTOWN.
Enjoy a full day at leisure in the “Adventure Capital of the World.” Perhaps choose an optional jetboat ride, visit a local winery, or tour some of the sights used to film The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Day 18 QUEENSTOWN–ROTORUA.
Fly to Rotorua. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 19 ROTORUA.
This morning, enjoy guided sightseeing with visits to TE PUIA, RAINBOW SPRINGS, and the AGRODOME. This afternoon, explore this geothermal wonderland on your own. This evening, you may choose to join our optional Maori cultural performance and Hangi dinner.
Day 20 ROTORUA–WAITOMO–AUCKLAND.
Today, head north for Waitomo, where you will take a boat trip through the WAITOMO GLOWWORM CAVES. Continue on to Auckland.
