ITINERARY

Day 1 - SUNDAY
Meet at the Paris hotel chosen by the group for a Private Driver Transfer to Dijon. Join 'Amaryllis' for a welcome reception with time to relax before your first gourmet dinner on board.

Day 2 - MONDAY
Relax during a leisurely morning cruise along the peaceful Burgundy Canal to Longecourt-en-Plaine. After lunch, visit Château du Clos de Vougeot, headquarters of La Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin — whose esteemed designation is awarded annually to the finest local vintages. Then enjoy a private tasting at the acclaimed Gevrey-Chambertin.

Day 3 - TUESDAY
In Dijon this morning, stroll the market with a walking tour that includes the Ducal Palace and mustard shop. Back on board 'Amaryllis,' cruise to St-Jean-de-Losne, the barge capital of France, where there is time to explore the bustling port before dinner.

Day 4 - WEDNESDAY
Linger over breakfast and relish the beauty of Burgundy as you cruise the majestic Saône River. From the mooring at Fragnes, visit Chalon-sur-Saône with its magnificent cathedral square and timber-framed buildings. Continue to Château de Pommard for an exclusive wine tasting before returning to the barge.

Day 5 - THURSDAY
Enjoy the gentle pace of the Canal du Centre today. Lunch is ashore at the Michelin-starred Le Montrachet. Continue to Beaune to visit Hôtel-Dieu, a medieval charity hospital. Then enjoy a wine tasting at the vast cellars of Joseph Drouhin.

Day 6 - FRIDAY
Cruise past the sprawling vineyards of Santenay to the pretty village of St-Léger-sur-Dheune. Visit Château de Rully where the Count of Rully hosts an exclusive tour of his 12th-century castle home. Back on board the barge, the chef busily prepares this evening's farewell dinner.

Day 7 - SATURDAY
After breakfast, a Private Driver Transfer to Paris brings your journey to an end.
