Today, observe some of the rarest wildlife on earth at the Elm Wildlife Conservation Area, including the Royal Albatross at Taiaroa Headland. Enjoy a picnic lunch with your nature guide before returning to your hotel.

Day 2: Dunedin
Depart Dunedin for a scenic journey along the renowned Catlin Coast. This rugged, sparsely populated area features a scenic coastal landscape and dense temperate rainforest, both of which harbor many endangered species of birds. Its exposed location leads to its frequently wild weather and heavy ocean swells. Later, arrive in Invercargill, the southernmost city in New Zealand.
